Senior UX Designer / UX Lead (m/f/d) for the Digital Attacker


  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions that bring the brand to life.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, work with product owners and in product teams to create the above-mentioned assets.
  • Coordinate UX work between other designers and creative professionals in the project and regional business units.
  • Work in a competitive international project environment with travelling inside Europe (mainly UK and Germany) up to 50% at peak times.
  • Enhance the company’s digital mindset
  • Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.


  • University degree in Design, Engineering, Marketing, Social Sciences or related disciplines
  • Several years of UX design experience (both corporate and agency experience are highly valued)
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, Balsamiq and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet business needs and project vision.
  • Extensive experience in using state-of-the-art UX design to create solutions for all devices, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design (UCD) and design thinking with a solid grasp of practical skills, like planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, distributed team setting including effectively communicating design processes, ideas, and solutions to IT- and business teams and stakeholders.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation, and about resolving user pain points through great design.
  • Fluency in English is a must, a good command of German is a strong asset.
  • A high-level view on other digital marketing areas to understand impact of design and vice versa is an asset

This leading service is underpinned by a brand new cloud-based IT platform and solution architecture which will continually evolve and be improved by the Digital Attacker business in collaboration with the wider E.ON consumer units, over the coming years.
